Our OE Plus Series Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator Front Bumper maintains the styling of your factory bumper while providing enhanced off-road utility. The removable wings allow you to configure your bumper for a full or stubby width design. The stubby version provides added clearance when rock crawling or on more technical trails, while the full width configuration offers more protection from off-road hazards. The bumper features a recessed winch mount, so you can enhance your Jeep’s vehicle recovery capabilities while increasing airflow to the engine.

The front bumper provides two light mounts that are compatible with (2) 3-inch pod lights or DV8’s JL & JT 4-inch LED Fog Lights. The included steel bull bar is removable, so you can mount it for extra protection to the front of your Jeep, or keep it uninstalled to retain your Jeep’s factory look. For additional lighting capabilities, you can run DV8's 13-Inch Elite Series LED Single Row Light Bar above the bull bar or our 20-inch Elite Series LED Single Row Light Bar below the bull bar using DV8's Elite Series Light Bar Mount. The bumper comes with a removable winch plate cover to give it a seamless look when you’re not mounting a winch. Our front bumper is compatible with the OEM Jeep tow hooks in equipped vehicles. Made from heavy-duty steel to provide more protection from rocks, shrubs, and trail obstacles over the factory bumper. The micro-texture black powder coat gives our bumper a sleek look that accents the exterior styling of your Jeep. For those that want to hit the trail with confidence without sacrificing the overall appearance of their rig, our JT & JL OE Plus Front Bumper is the perfect upgrade.

* Please Note: The bumper is not compatible with the factory front skid plate. As a replacement, we recommend DV8’s Sway Bar Disconnect Skid Plate.

Seems well made and parts fit well. I do wish there was an aluminum version. It was packed really well. Each lpie e wrapped in rubber sheeting.

Snug fit in my 20 overland Gladiator with a Apex 12,000 Pound winch but turned out great.

First thing I would recommend is to remove your grill. Its vert east and will give you allot more room while working and you wont run the risk of scratching it while installing the bumper and winch if you chose to use one.
I took this on by myself and honestly took allot longer than I thought mainly because I messed up a few times and had to remove the bumper and start again. If your using the apex winch or any other large winch be sure to use the provided spacers or it wont fit. The winch mounting brackets that attach your winch to your frame and your factory tow hooks look very similar. I thought they where identical until I installed them and tried to line my bumper up. So after I had a oh crap moment and thought I lve got the wrong bumper, Im a hald inch off from lining up, it hit me on what I had done and I removed the bumper, winch and them the mounting brackets switched." short side goes on the inside" Then reinstalled it all and had great alignment and thought, Im making progress. So then I went to reinstall my grill and it wouldn't fit between the winch and the grill attachment brackets. So I had to remove the bumper again to access the bolts for the winch so I could slide it away from the grill as much as possible and then reinstalled the grill before tightening the winch back down and installing the bumper for a third time. Ok making real head way now nothing can stop me right? Well thats a pipe dream because after I had
It all snug and looking good, I then noticed the two metal trim peaces that help fill the gap around the factory tow hooks and while I could skip that step It really does make it look allot better so for the third and final time I unbolted the bumper struggled getting it off one last time and added the cover for the tow hooks. 🤦🏻. This bumper really is great and the instructions are awesome. So dont be a dumb dumb like me and forget to read the small print because trust me it matters.
